Nevada Contemplates Prostitution Tax

With a global recession running wild, state governments are coming up with creative way to meet their budget needs, and Nevada legislators have proposed a wonderfully pragmatic piece of legislation.  For some reason, Nevad has failed to tax prostitution for the past 3 decades it was legal in rural portions of the state and a nominal $5 tax is now proposed.  The odd part is that the tax is facing huge opposition from various factions that don’t seem to want to admit that places like the Bunny and Chicken Ranches opperate legitimate businesses.  When your state is facing a $2 billion deficit, you need to make money where ever you can.
