Designer Drugs just uploaded their newest mix last night. I haven’t gotten a chance to listen to it yet, but I can assure you that it is full Sex Cult grindhouse! Oh and it opens with “Niggas in Paris”… no wonder Jay and Ye are performing that shit 11 x a night. Did I mention this shit is almost 2 hours long?!
Guess I missed this while I was recovering from the Sex Cult Initiation Tour.
New grindhouse madness from Sex Cult member Skitsnygg. Glad to see everyone survived the first leg of the Sex Cult Initiation Tour!
Good times seeing the entire Sex Cult crew in Louisville last weekend. Video is awesome, and the track came out this week!

iQ Entertainment continues their onslaught of releases with iQD009 from Illy!:
iQD009 finds iQ Entertaiment dropping 2 bangers from Philadelphia-based emcee and producer Illy. The release liberates Illy’s classic collaboration with Bmore legends Uncle Jesse of Unruly Records fame and the follow up to last year’s smash “That’s My Steez” by Double on the Rocks! “Wilin’ Out” is an instant party anthem with a crazy Baltimore club backed beat and the insanity of Illy on the vocals. On the flip side, “Sex Raps” takes a more electro house approach with production from CT Burners, but Illy keeps the verses hot all the same. The release is out now exclusively on Beatport!
New DD remix … that makes a total of 40 that they’ve dropped.
Make sure to grab their new LP when it drops this spring.
Somehow I missed this when it first dropped. Not sure how. Anyway, my favorite electro house miscreants have returned with their latest edition of the Datamix series. This shit just makes me salivate at the thought of their full length release coming soon!

Earlier this month Designer Drugs dropped their sixth installment of electro awesomeness known as the Datamix series. Amidst all of the other stuff they were doing, I somehow missed this. However, due to all of the coverage they have received here lately, you really shouldn’t need to be told anything else other than, “DOWNLOAD AND JAM LOUDLY!”

I usually don’t post about the same artists twice in a week, but Designer Drugs have had an exceptional week. First off, they have just released their second single “Riot”/”Drop Down” on iheartcomix. Secondly, Theo and Mike celebrated the anniversary of their first single “Zombies”. And finally, I somehow conned them into doing an interview for MHC. Hope you enjoy!
MHC: I open every interview with this question, so who can pull more pussy in a night: Michael or Theo?
Michael: Theo because since he has a pussy he can pull it whenever he wants.
Theo: Pull it, pet it, twist it, bite it, you name it.
Rest of the Interview below the cut.
There is nothing better than receiving unexpected new music from artists that you love. I just stumbled across this new gem on Twitter from Mike and Theo of Designer Drugs. As the fifth volume in their Datamix series, this edition follows suit with a series of banging electro joints. I wasn’t able to grab a full tracklist, but I would venture to say that it consists of a lot of originals and remixes from the DD duo.

Missing Toof dropped the newest edition of the American Dream Team’s “What Dreams Are Made Of” mixtape series and it is fucking dope. I know I have been posting a lot electro mixtapes the past couple of days, but once you look at the track list, you will have to have this mix. TADT pulls from every hot electro producer out right now including Villains, Kill the Noise, Designer Drugs, Computer Club, & 12th Planet.

I have been waiting on this to drop for the past week or two since Mike told me about it, and I must say that this mix is fucking DOPE! If you are into electro, then you really need to download this shit. It features a ton of remixes by Michael and Theo as well material from a slew of other producers on the forefront of electro/club music. For anyone that missed the DD show w/ Grey Granite back in January at Talbott Street, this mix is just a taste of the audioliphic crack that you missed out on. Hope your lesson has been learned! I also included a bonus link to remix of the new DD single.
Tracklist below the cut.
Just wanted to say HUGE thanks to everyone that performed at and came out for the first “Money, Hoes, & Clothes presents” show @ Talbott Street. It was a great fucking night and a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday. Mike from Designer Drugs was drinkin’ his whiskey per usual and broke his glasses by running into me. Grey Granite and company put on a great show. His stage presence is definitely worth noting. TONS OF FUCKING ENERGY! The turnout was decent considering the snow. Below are links to pictures from the night and a bonus voice clip from Michael before Designer Drugs.
Are you about sick of seeing the flyer yet? LOL
Anyway, Money, Hoes, & Clothes was featured in Indy’s local entertainment paper Nuvo for the Designer Drugs show. Even though Jack had to pull the single most douchebag quote from the blog, I still think the piece will do a lot to help promote the show. The reduced list requests are starting to come in, so I can’t wait to see how many we get.
The flyers designed by Jackola for Money, Hoes, & Clothes presents Designer Drugs are back from the printer. I have a general shit ton of them, so if you wanna be cool and help get rid of them, please get at me @ firstname.lastname@example.org. The flyers look super dope, I’m really happy with how they turned out.
Also, if you want to be on the $5 reduced list, please email email@example.com with your full name, one name per email.
