Metalheadz member Blame links up Sway with a fly drum-n-bass remix of his single “Level Up”. This shit is kinda epic. I kinda wish dnb would get more of the love for bass music from hip-hop. It’s just a natural fit.
Short minimix from AK1200, Bill Hammel, and Meaux Green ask 2Against1.
Continually proving why he is one of the most relevant producers in Indianapolis, Dave Owen made his UK debut in December at Hard Soul, emceed by 2 Shy. This is some epic liquid funk with his trademark choice of bootlegs.
Classic jump up mix from the Cincinnati Bomb Squad members Mowgli and Braidey dating back to 1997. Between this and the DSL mix below, I think I might have to pull out my UFO!s and put a lighter in the air!
Most older ravers remember Yes! Fest in 2000, but how many of you remember the OG Paoli Peaks rave Real Family, which was hosted by CBS?
Dieselboy aka Damian Higgins has been hands down one of my favorite DJs for most of my raver career. “Soldier Story” still gets frequent play while working. With that said, you can imagine my excitement when he announced a nearly 90 minute mix crafted to inspire DJs to raise the bar in their mixing and programming capabilities. I guess I’m not the only one that still loves me some DSL because the current estimated download time is 9 fucking hours! As soon as I get this download, I will up it to Hulkshare and include an embed. This shit cray!
UPDATE: SoundCloud embedded.
Because no day is complete without a touch of drum-n-bass.
The man behind electrostep is back with this single off of his upcoming album “Light Speed”. Sorry I couldn’t find a SoundCloud or download. Youtube is all you get.
With FS making a comeback by working with Reid Speed and Play Me Records, I am reminded of how dope Ming + FS used to be as a tag team. The duo truly embodied the whole hipstep movement of New York with a good blend of hip-hop bangers and drum-n-bass anthems. “Heightened Security” is a solid collection of tracks from early 2000s. Jams!
Looks like Rusko has taken up the Mad Decent mantra of making creepy dance music videos for his upcoming single “Somebody to Love”. The drum-n-bass snare build up makes me really fucking happy!
More pound your face against the fireplace bass music from Evol Intent just in time for Christmas. Sorry I missed this last week. I’ll try to be more timely in the future or something.
Just when you thought drum-n-bass was dead, someone like UFO! comes out of nowhere to breathe life into the genre with a solid tune. Thank you for keeping dnb relevant to the bass music masses!
This might be the first Pendulum mix I ever heard. When the trio first debuted in the early 2000s, they were making some truly massive drum-n-bass tracks. Now they look and sound like any other epic rock band, but thankfully Rob and Garreth have moved back to dance music with their new project Knife Party!
